The Ordinariate is pleased to announce the publication of the interim edition of The Saint Willibrord Missal, containing the rites for the Celebration of the Holy Eucharist designed to cover a wide array of liturgical styles and needs encountered by the clergy of the Ordinariate.
This interim edition includes four Eucharistic Rites in clear, contemporary English:
Rite I - The Old Catholic Rite (based on the Gul-Mathew and Tridentine Rites)
Rite II - Contemporary Western Rite
Rite III - Byzantine Rite
Rite IV - Syriac Rite
All four rites follow the same calendar, based on a modified Western structure, supported by proper collects and special Liturgies for Holy Days.
